Introduction

In this blog we will independantly and cooperatively be researching music videos and how they are developed and created to present the genre and style sutiable to the audience. We will be exploring how POP videos use camera angles, locations, props, colour and formatting to advertise their product and appeal it to the audience. All the features we research to be effective will be used and considered when we create our own pop music video. This will help us to understand the requirements for a successful and appealing video. The genre we chose to focus on was POP, the reason being because there is a certain image and impression that pop videos require and we will find it positively challenging to meet the demands and specific style and camera shots.
